What is Constructing Confidence?
Constructing Confidence is a suite of life skills tools thoughtfully designed for both the classroom and home to help young students develop the habits of mind they need for longterm learning success. We explain key concepts on the power of positivity and a growth mindset, and provide engaging discussion questions and fun exercises for meaningful practice in the classroom and at home. Choose from two complementary programs, Positivity or Growth Mindset, for turn-key engagement that works for teachers and families alike. There is an Educators’ version and a separate Parents' version for each program to make it easy to nurture that all-important home-school connection.

What is The Positivity Toolbox?
Grounded in the science of positive psychology, The Positivity Toolbox provides educators and parents with a structured workbook of activities and conversation starters that cultivate 12 behaviors proven to increase positivity, to foster resilience, emotional intelligence, and long-term wellbeing in children.

Liana Slater
Liana holds an MBA and a BA in Psychology. Building on her experience in media as an early Google executive she evolved into a learning leader currently focused on building and implementing wellbeing and thought leadership programs. She is also the producer and host of the award-winning The Mindshare Podcast. Liana met Darri in 2014 when she served as Director, Common Sense Media NY. Her approach to Constructing Confidence is set in action by her sons Jackson and Sam.
Darri Stephens
With MAs in Education from both Harvard and Stanford, Darri has served as a leader and content creator at best-in-class ed tech organizations including Wonder Workshop, Nickelodeon, Common Sense Education, Google, and Harvard University. She is a former teacher and an expert in learning design and in the design thinking process, which has resulted in the creation of multi-award-winning programs and products.
